1. Terms & Conditions
1.1 Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale of digital signage screens (“Equipment”) and the provision of CMS & Design Services (“Services”) by Marketing Screens.
By purchasing Equipment or subscribing to our Services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Equipment Sale Terms
2.1 Ownership
Equipment is sold outright. Ownership transfers once full payment is received.
2.2 Delivery & Inspection
Customers must inspect Equipment immediately upon delivery.
Any damage, faults, or missing items must be reported within 24 hours.
Reports made after 24 hours may not be accepted.
2.3 Unboxing Video Requirement (Mandatory)
To protect both parties and ensure successful warranty processing, customers must record a continuous unboxing video when opening the TV box for the first time.
The video must clearly show:
- The unopened, sealed box
- The full unboxing process
- The condition of the screen when removed
- All accessories included
- Any visible damage (if applicable)
This video is required for:
- Damage claims
- Missing items claims
- Warranty claims
- Return requests
Failure to provide an unboxing video may result in:
- Claims being rejected
- Warranty support being delayed or refused
- Returns not being accepted
This requirement is standard for high‑value electronics and ensures we can submit valid claims to our supplier within their required timeframe.
2.4 Returns (Unopened Only)
Returns are accepted within 10 days ONLY if the item is:
- Unopened
- Unused
- In original sealed packaging
- Complete with all accessories
Installed or opened Equipment cannot be returned.
2.5 Restocking Fees
A restocking fee of up to 30% applies to all returns.
2.6 Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are paid by the customer unless the item is confirmed faulty.
2.7 Warranty
Manufacturer warranty applies.
Warranty claims must follow the supplier’s process.
3. CMS & Design Subscription Terms
3.1 Minimum Term
Minimum term: 6 months, unless otherwise stated in your Order Form.
3.2 Rolling Term
After the Minimum Term, the subscription continues monthly.
3.3 Cancellation
Requires 2 months’ written notice, effective after the Minimum Term.
3.4 What’s Included
Your subscription includes a custom number of posters per month, as agreed during your sales call and confirmed in your Order Form.
Each design includes 1–2 revisions.
3.5 Additional Posters
- £8 per static design
- £10 per basic animation
Unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.6 Suspension
Services may be suspended for:
- Failed payments
- Cancelled Direct Debit
- Breach of terms
4. Payment Terms
- Equipment: bank transfer or Direct Debit
- Subscription: Direct Debit only
- Failed payments: 2 retries
- Late fees: 2% above Bank of England base rate
- After 30 days overdue, we may suspend or terminate services
5. Price Changes
- Annual increase: CPI + 2%, capped at 8%
- 30 days’ notice will be provided
6. Planning Permission Disclaimer
- We may submit planning applications on your behalf
- Approval is not guaranteed
- Planning rejection does not allow cancellation or return
- Equipment may be used internally instead
7. Data Processing & POS Data
7.1 Data Controller & Processor
- Client = Data Controller
- Marketing Screens = Data Processor
7.2 How We Use POS Data
POS data is used ONLY for:
- Creating your posters
- Improving your content
- Internal service improvement
- Anonymous benchmarking
We never sell or share your data.
8. Privacy Policy

8.2 How We Use Your Data

9. Refund Policy
Refunds are available ONLY for:
- Unopened Equipment returned within 10 days
- Faulty items reported within 24 hours
Refunds are not available for:
- Opened or installed Equipment
- Subscription fees
- Design services
- Planning permission services
Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days after inspection.
10. Returns Policy
Returns are accepted within 10 days ONLY if:
- Unopened
- Unused
- Sealed
- Complete
Non‑returnable items include:
- Opened items
- Installed items
- Used items
- Damaged items
- Missing packaging
- Custom items
11. Liability
We are not liable for:
- Planning rejection
- Installation damage
- Indirect or consequential losses
Liability is capped at 12 months of subscription fees.
12. Updates to These Policies
We may update these policies at any time.
The latest version will always be available at this URL.
Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of updated policies.
